Niall Horan has followed October’s “Nice To Meet Ya” with the emotional “Put a Little Love On Me.”
“Just wanted to release this song because I feel like it deserves to be released and I want you to have it now,” Horan explained on Twitter. “I love this song and I’m glad it’s yours now, can’t wait to play it live on tour for ya!”
Horan penned “Put a Little Love On Me” with Jamie Scott, Daniel Bryer and Mike Needle.

"This could potentially be my favourite song I’ve ever written,” Horan told The Sun. “I’d just gone through a breakup and it was all very real. It was very easy to sit down at the piano and speak and see what happens.”
The breakup was reportedly from actress Hailee Steinfeld last December.
He sings: “When the lights come up and there’s no shadows dancing / I look around as my heart is collapsing / ‘Cause you’re the only one I need.”
The song comes with a video directed by Cameron Busby.
Horan will make his solo debut as musical guest on the Dec. 14 episode of Saturday Night Live and will be on tour next year with pal Lewis Capaldi – with a stop at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on May 6.
