Oscars Going Ahead With No Host After Kevin Hart Says He Definitely Won't Do It
Kevin Hart has said no to hosting the Oscars this year for good.
Ellen DeGeneres had Hart on her show after he stepped down from being the host when old homophobic tweets from him resurfaced. She showed her support, saying she'd still like to see him host.
But after an interview on Good Morning America, Hart revealed it's a definite no from him.
So what does that mean for the Academy Awards this year?
No host at all.
According to Variety, instead of having one host, A-list celebrities will rotate the role of emcee by introducing different segments.
There will also be skits throughout the show that rely heavily on music, thanks to the success of A Star is Born.
It's the first time the Academy Awards will go ahead with no host in 30 years.
The Oscars air Sunday, February 24th.
