Slipknot's Corey Taylor: "Stop Whining and Put Your Goddamn Mask On"

It's no surprise that the man who has performed countless hours on stage for more than 20 years IN a mask would have some words about the Mask Wearing debate.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor was speaking with an Australian radio station (MMM Hard N Heavy) about his upcoming solo album CFMT, when he was asked if he had a message to those people who choose not to wear a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic:

"Yeah, stop whining and put your goddamn mask on. This isn't an isolated incident. My country's loaded with these dumbassess that think it is some sort of political standpoint or some sort of partisan garbage," he replied.
"And I'm just like, 'Are you serious?' Just because you haven't had anyone in your life affected by it doesn't mean that it's not a real thing."

Taylor also pointed out how easy he believes it is to wear a face mask in public: "I once had to wear a full head mask for 8 hours while doing Slipknot press. Eight hours straight - didn't take it off, but there people are going to bitch and moan about wearing it for 10 minutes at the market? Get over yourselves."

As far as Slipknot's timeline, the band was forced to cancel their 2020 'We Are Not Your Kind' tour due to the pandemic. Taylor has been busy dropping his solo album and released 2 new singles last week:
