BTS announced Monday they will debut a “never-before-seen choreography version” of their “Dynamite” video inside Fortnite this week.
In a video message to fans, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook said the video will premiere in the popular game on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET.
“Jump into Party Royale then head to the Main Stage,” said Jungkook. Added RM: “Make sure you hang out until the end to check out the Tropical Remix listening party.”
On Wednesday, fans can purchase the BTS Dynamite Pack, which includes two “emotes.”
Fortnite’s Main Stage is part of the game’s Party Royale social space, which Diplo opened back in May. Artists like Marshmello and Travis Scott have performed concerts inside Fortnite.
“We’re always looking to partner with talented artists who are interested in pushing boundaries and finding innovative ways to reach fans,” said Nate Nanzer of Epic Games, in a release. “BTS is not only incredibly popular worldwide, but their talent, creativity, and forward-thinking made them a perfect match. We’re honoured to host their premiere.”
BTS debuted “Dynamite” in August. The official video shattered a YouTube record and the song spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
