Horizon asks public not to go to hospital appointments unless contacted
The Horizon Health Network is asking the public not to go to hospitals for medical appointments unless they are contacted directly.
The Network says it is postponing elective surgeries and non-urgent appointments for its ambulatory clinics diagnostic imaging and laboratory services and reassigning staff to areas where support is most urgently needed.
Anyone who is uncertain about the status of their appointment should call ahead to the appropriate department.
Horizon says oncology services are continuing, and the public should continue to attend these appointments as planned.
