Edmonton Valley Zoo set to Re-Open June 15th

The Edmonton Valley Zoo announced on Instagram we can expect a re-open date of June 15th! Just in time for some summer activities – I love it!


They will start online advanced ticket says soon, and of course they have some new guild lines to maintain social distancing which is great.

The zoo will re-open with 50% capacity, and a flow of one way traffic to ensure safe distancing! Take a look below for more details.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to the #yegzoo in the coming weeks! When we open June 15, there will be new guidelines in place, which include: * Advance tickets only, sold online, with a daily attendance limit of 50 percent of normal capacity (normal capacity is 3,000); * Increased hand sanitizer locations, including at the entry and exit and throughout the zoo. * One-way traffic around the zoo to facilitate physical distancing and minimize interactions; * Pathway markings, signage or barriers to enforce physical distancing guidelines and hygiene protocols; * Limited food service; and * Rides will remain closed.
