WATCH: Youppi! is ejected from a classic ball game
It was 31 years ago this week that Youppi! made MLB history during an August 23, 1989 game against the L.A. Dodgers. The then Expos mascot was ejected from the game following complaints from Dodgers team manager, Tommy Lasorda.
The classic moment came in the 11th innining after the lovable orange furball was kicked out earlier in the game with a promise not to get close to the Dodgers' dugout.
The game went on for 22 innings with the Expos losing 1-0.
