Megan Thee Stallion shot down speculation that she wasn’t really the victim of gunshot wounds by posting photos of her injured right foot on Wednesday.
“Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the sh– YALL make up,” she captioned the images, which she later deleted. “I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk ? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago.”
Rumours swirled after the rap star showed up – with a bandaged foot – at Allure Gentlemen’s Club in Atlanta on Monday night.
“I usually don’t address internet bulls**t but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION.”

Late last month, Megan took to social media to reflect on the July 12 incident that put her in hospital. “I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the s**t taken out, get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary,” she said during an Instagram Live.
The rapper did not name the person who shot her but said the bullets did not hit bones or tendons in her feet.
Los Angeles Police were investigating a shooting outside a house party when they pulled over a SUV carrying Stallion, an unidentified woman and Canadian rapper-singer Tory Lanez.
Stallion was taken to hospital after officers saw injuries to her feet and Lanez was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Initial reports said Stallion had suffered cuts to her foot, possibly from broken glass, but she went on social media to reveal she had been intentionally shot.
