The Rolling Stones have announced a 15-city tour that includes a concert in Vancouver.
“It’s a new year, a new decade & we’re thrilled to announce a brand new Rolling Stones NO FILTER 2020 USA/CA tour!,” read a tweet from the band.
The Stones will perform at BC Place on May 12 – their first show at the venue since November 2006.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 14.
The iconic rock band had been teasing the tour announcement for several days.
Last March, the Stones announced they were postponing the U.S. leg of their No Filter Tour so frontman Mick Jagger could undergo a heart valve replacement.
The lone Canadian show, north of Toronto, went ahead as scheduled on June 29. It was the band’s 19th official tour show in the Toronto area in 54 years.
The combined age of the Rolling Stones is 302. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are 76, Ronnie Wood is 72 and Charlie Watts is 78.
