Rap Star Nelly Will Compete On 'Dancing With The Stars'


Rapper Nelly will soon be challenging AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys on the dance floor.

The 45-year-old “Hot in Herre" star was announced Wednesday as a competitor on the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

McLean’s participation was announced last week.

“Soo I just told somebody ima a Scorpio we can do anything,” Nelly tweeted. "Told them name anything we can’t do .. this mofo said dancing with the stars..!! I Laughed at first then said BOOK IT..!!! Bet money.. Fck that I’m doing dancing with the stars Put ya money up..!”

Nelly and McLean will compete on the show against the likes of reality stars Chrishell Stause and Nev Schulman, actors Anne Heche and Jesse Metcalfe, athletes Charles Oakley and Johnny Weir and – yes, all you cool cats and kittens – Carole Baskin of Tiger King fame.

Season 29 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 14.
