Nova Scotia Health to validate Need a Family Practice Registry
Nova Scotia Health says it will begin validating information of those on the Need a Family Practice Registry to confirm they are still in need of a primary care provider.
Starting Friday, those on the list should receive an e-mail, automated phone call, or letter to confirm their information is up to date.
Anyone who misses or does not receive a call, e-mail or letter by December 10th should call 811 to update their information, while those who are not yet on the registry should call 811, or go online, to have their names added.
Names on the registry are provided to a family practice that is accepting new patients, in the order in which they have been received, based on the community.
