If you’ve ever wondered where the unique names of Beyoncé's and Jay-Z's twins came from, we finally have the answer!
Jay-Z opened up Friday in his podcast about choosing Rumi and Sir.
"Rumi is our favourite poet, so that was for our daughter,” Jay-Z noted. For their son, he explained, "Sir was just like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir.”
Along with comments about the newest additions to the Carter fam, Jay-Z also touched on his latest single "4:44", about the catchy free-stylings supplied by first-born daughter Blue Ivy.
“So I start playing the beat... And she went and got the headphones and climbed on the little stool and then she just started rapping. The pockets she was catching... I was like, 'Oh s**t!”.
