While “Chained to the Rhythm” has racked up over 100 million streams on Spotify, Katy Perry has been busy teasing fans with new music. Yesterday (Mar. 17), the pop star played a snippet of a song titled “Bon Appétit” on her Instagram story.
Already, fans are dissecting the short, 10-second snippet, and pointing to a mystery vocal that could belong to Ariana Grande. Are the two finally collaborating?
Perry sings: “‘Cause I’m all that you want, boy/ I’ll fatten you up, boy/ Got me spread like a buffet. Oh no! Bon appetit, baby/ I'm quite the seduction (uh huh)/ Fresh from the oven/ Hola!”
The 32-year-old singer previously spoke about the single, telling E! News at the Grammys, “I have one song called ‘Bon Appétit’ that I love. It’s pretty sexual.”
She added, “It’s got a wide range of feelings and emotions and I just feel a little bit more conscious than I ever have and I kind of worked out some of my shit, worked through it. Dug it out.”
