Luisana Lopilato has publicly defended her husband, Canadian singer Michael Bublé, against accusations that he is abusive.
"It's incredible how some human beings are,” the Argentine actress-model fumed, in Spanish, in an Instagram post on Sunday. “I have no doubts who my husband is and I would choose him a thousand times over!!”
Lopilato and Bublé have been doing daily Instagram Live sessions while in isolation at their Vancouver home due to the COVID-19 outbreak. During one recent livestream, Bublé elbowed Lopilato when she talked over him and then grabbed her arm to pull her in close to him.
Twitter user @solciadler shared the clip and captioned it, in Spanish: "I don't know about you, but I saw this and was outraged by Michael's treatment of Luisana, I was seriously WTF.”

This sparked reactions from others, including one person who asked: “What’s wrong with that man?”
In a clip from a March 23 livestream, Bublé tells Lopilato “you’re so dead to me” and chastises her for being “always late.” Later, he jokes: “Some people love their wives and some people, they don’t.”
After signing off – but before Lopilato has turned off the camera – Bublé is heard saying: “I’m going to kill you. Oh, I’m going to kill you.”

Lopilato was having none of the Twitter criticism. “Every day [I] go out with my husband to do [Instagram] lives to bring you a little joy, entertainment,” she wrote, “and we have to put up with, hear and see what people with ill intentions are posting without knowing anything about our family.
“The world needs more than ever 'love, hope, values, unity and solidarity' NOT these types of people.”
View this post on InstagramEs increíble como son algunos seres humanos!!
But, during an Instagram Live session, Lopilato made a point of not downplaying concerns for her well-being. "I've seen your messages over the weekend and I am very thankful. Thank you for worrying,” she said, with Bublé in the frame.
"It's very important that we pay attention to these problems that have been mentioned and that I am lucky not to suffer. But it is important to pay attention to be able to help women that are going through it. Thank you. But it's not in my case.”
Lopilato and Bublé were married in 2011 and have sons, Noah, 5 and Elias, 3, and daughter Vida, 21 months.
In 2010, the singer’s ex-girlfriend Tiffany Bromley told now-defunct UK tabloid News of the World that Bublé had a temper. “We had several rows where he’d blow up over nothing,” she alleged.
