Thomas Rhett announced Thursday that his new album Life Changes will be out Sept. 8.
The 14-song collection is billed as “the biggest, boldest-sounding record” of Rhett’s career and promises “country ballads, heartland rock ’n’ roll anthems, EDM-influenced pop tracks and R&B slow jams.”
Rhett wrote 10 tracks and produced the album alongside Dann Huff and Jesse Frasure, as well as Julian Bunetta and Joe London.
"I am and will always be a country artist,” Rhett said, in a release. "It's who I am, it's in my blood. I will always try to push boundaries because that rebellious side has been in me since I was a kid.
“My voice and my journey that inspired these songs is the glue that makes this album cohesive. This is where I'm at musically and these are my stories.”
Life Changes has already spawned the hit single “Craving You” and, on Friday, Rhett previewed the next single, “Unforgettable.”
