Scary moments for Eminem early last month when a man broke into his Detroit area mansion.
According to Clinton Township Police, the rap star was in his Westchester Drive home at around 4 a.m. on April 5 when 27-year-old Matthew David Hughes allegedly threw a patio stone through a glass kitchen door and made his way into Eminem's home.
An alarm system alerted security for the gated community and guards detained the suspect until police arrived.
Hughes, identified by police as homeless, was charged with first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of property worth between $1,000 and $20,000. He is being held in custody on a $50,000 U.S. bond and is scheduled to have a competency hearing on June 29.
