It was too late now to say sorry, so Justin Bieber had to buck up in his ongoing legal drama related to a 2013 graffiti incident in Brazil. The “Despacito” singer donated $6,000 to a local cancer hospital to settle his charges for the tagging.

The 23-year-old received permission to graffiti a nearby sports facility, but chose to paint the abandoned Hotel Nacional due to “security reasons” (i.e. to avoid fans). Of course, he didn’t have permission for the hotel, and defacing a public building in Brazil is punishable by up to one year in jail or a fine.

Brazil’s civil police force released a statement after the incident saying that Bieber would be charged with "defacing a building or urban monument by graffiti or other means".

On that same trip, Bieber, 19 at the time, was photographed leaving a brothel covered in a blanket. He also tried to smuggle prostitutes into the Copacabana Palace. After the escorts were turned away by security, it's alleged the singer caused $6,000 in damage to his hotel room.
