A vocals-only version of Linkin Park's "One More Light" was recently posted to YouTube, and fair warning: it might bring you to tears.
When the music tracks are stripped away, we’re reminded how talented Chester Bennington was and how heartfelt the song is.
Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda told Kerrang! the song was inspired by a close friend’s death to cancer.
“It’s a sad song, but the pay-off is that when something dramatic and painful like that happens, the most important thing to do is to connect with the people you love and remind them you care about them,” he said.
The song took on new significance when Bennington died in 2017.
