Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts announced Wednesday that he will star in a new reality series, DeMarcus Family Rules.

“Well y’all… we’ve got some big news,” the country star wrote on Instagram. He described the show as “a behind the scenes, unfiltered look at our crazy life.”

DeMarcus, 49, also shared a video message with wife Allison and their children Madeline, 9, and Dylan, 8.

The musician met Allison on the set of the video for Rascal Flatts’ 2002 song “These Days” and they were married in May 2004.

In May, Rascal Flatts scrapped plans for their Farewell: Life Is a Highway Tour, which was set to kick off in June and included a Sept. 3 stop at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, due to COVID-19.

DeMarcus Family Rules premieres on Netflix in August.
