Rapper Lil Xan says anxiety about COVID-19 caused him to suffer a panic attack.

The 23-year-old, who has been staying at his mother’s home in Corona, California since the stay-at-home order was issued, told TMZ he was hospitalized on Sunday.

Lil Xan, whose real name is Nicholas Leanos, said his mother called 911 because she was worried about hallucinations he was having.

The rapper said doctors told him he had a panic attack, which he believes was caused by the stress of being confined to home.

The release of Lil Xan’s sophomore studio album, which he has said will be titled Sorry I Didn't Quit, has been delayed due to the pandemic. He was set to perform next month at Montreal's Metro Metro festival, which has been cancelled.
