Cardi B said Friday she has “shed not one tear” about her latest split from Offset.
The 27-year-old rap superstar, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, filed for divorce from the Migos rapper on Sept. 14 in Fulton County, Georgia.
“This time, I wasn't crying,” Cardi said during an Instagram Live. “I just got tired of f**king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye.”
She shot down rumours that Offset impregnated another woman and said their separation has nothing to do with his previous cheating.
“Nothing crazy out of this world happened,” Cardi insisted. “Sometimes people really do f**king grow apart.”
The “WAP” rapper thanked fans for their support. “I'm great. I'm okay. I'm not down,” she said. “I’m not devastated. I'm not hurt.”
Cardi confirmed in June 2018 that she had secretly wed Offset in Georgia nine months earlier. The couple welcomed daughter Kulture in July 2018.
Then, in December 2018, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper said she had split from her husband. “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby’s father for a hot minute now,” she explained on Instagram. “We’re really good friends and we’re really good business partners … we’ve got a lot of love for each other but things just having been working out between us for a long time. And it’s nobody’s fault, I guess we just grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore.”
Cardi added: “It might take time to get a divorce.”
It was the first marriage for both Cardi and Offset. He has three children from previous relationships.
