Dan + Shay, Justin Bieber Strip Down '10,000 Hours'

Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber have released a stripped-down mix of their recent collaboration “10,000 Hours.”

The original song, which was released in early October, was written by Dan + Shay and Bieber along with Jessie Jo Dillon, Jordan Reynolds and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd.

It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it currently sits at No. 9, and has been the No. 1 song on the Hot Country chart for seven weeks.

The new version’s focus on piano highlights the vocals.

“I’d spend 10,000 hours and 10,000 more / Oh, if that’s what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours,” they sing. “And I might never get there, but I’m gonna try / If it’s 10,000 hours or the rest of my life.”
