Pearl Jam Wants 100M 'Even Flow' Views
Pearl Jam made a subtle appeal to fans on Monday to revisit the video for the band’s 1992 song “Even Flow.”
“We're getting close to 100 million views on the ‘Even Flow’ music video,” read a tweet on Pearl Jam’s official account. "How quickly can we get there?”
The video, which was uploaded to YouTube a little more than a decade ago, currently has 94.4 million views.
“Even Flow” was the second single off Pearl Jam’s debut album Ten and was remixed for inclusion on the 2009 reissue.
The video is, in fact, the second one created for the track. The original video, directed by Rocky Schenck, was tossed because the band didn’t like it and was replaced by a video, helmed by Josh Taft, made up of previously-shot footage of Pearl Jam performing live.
